Wikipedia defines a production company as "a company that provides the physical basis for works in the realms of the performing arts, new media art, film, television, radio, and video."
In the age of digital media, and the age of crowd-sourcing funds and artwork, it is no longer a huge cross over for artists to branch out into multiple forms of entertainment and we want to help facilitate the dreams of everyone ranging from artists to business and organizations looking to create the perfect event!

Specifically, we are now forming a record label, film studio, digital book publisher, social media outreach studio, event planner and all around 'dream-fulfillment-center' for artists needing funds, direction and the physical basis for achieving their dreams. Once upon a time such a goal would have been impossible but in the age of digital media such plans are comparatively easy to accomplish! Once in a lifetime you will have the chance to be a part of dream-making organization... and now is your chance!

Amanda Palmer's Kickstarter Campaign Soars Past $500,000 -- and It's
Still Going

May 05, 2012 | By Glenn Peoples, Nashville
Amanda Palmer's record-setting Kickstarter campaign blew past the
$500,000 mark Friday evening and stood at $536,275 Saturday afternoon.
The project, to raise money to promote her new album, has received
more pledges and a greater value of pledges than any other music
project in Kickstarter's three-year history. The project's fundraising
period will end May 31.

Amanda Palmer Raises $368,000 in Two Days, Sets Records on Kickstarter

Palmer's stunning success could bring more significant artists to the
platform. Kickstarter has received a good amount of attention for
projects outside of music, such as the number of Sundance Film
Festival selections that were funded through the site. But there had
not been a breakout music project to draw significant media attention
and lure well-known artists to the platform. That could change as
Palmer shows Kickstarter's potential to raise major label-type funds
from fans.

Most of the money pledged has come from big-ticket items not usually
offered by artists. Eighty-two percent of the 9,375 pledges have been
for either $1-$24 for a digital download or $25-$49 for a limited
edition CD and digital download. The remaining 80% or so of
dollars pledged comes from the relatively few pledges of far greater
value. For example, Palmer has received 294 pledges of $300 to $500
that grant entrance to VIP parties in select markets.

The items that received the most dollars were house parties. Palmer
has received 29 pledges of $5,000 (up to $9,999 if the person making
the pledge wants to give more) for house parties. But these events
don't have the profit margin of digital downloads. Palmer promises she
will perform anywhere in the world in the next 18 months for a $5,000
pledge (although she has limited the number of shows to 35 and has 6
remaining).

Artistic Freedom Story #2.
"Five individuals employed by William Morris, one of the world's largest Entertainment Agencies” met over dinner one night less than 38 years ago, after they discovered that they all had the same idea in mind: creating an agency of their own. Before they could obtain adequate financing for their new venture, they were fired.
Later, during that same year, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) was in business, with a $35,000 line of credit and a $21,000 bank loan, in a small rented office outfitted with card tables and folding chairs. The five agents had only two cars among them, and their family took turns as agency receptionists. Within about a week, according to one industry insider, they had sold their first three packages, a game show called 'Rhyme and Reason', the 'Rich Little Show' and the 'Jackson Five Show.'

At first, CAA's founders planned to form a medium-sized, full-service agency one that was as unlike Morris as possible in approach and feel. Ovitz, who shortly assumed de facto leadership of the agency, described the company's corporate culture as a blend of Eastern philosophy and team sports. 'I liken myself to the guy running down the court with four other players and throwing the ball to the open guy,' he once said. Their partnership was based on teamwork with proceeds shared equally. There were no nameplates on doors, no formal titles, no individual agent client lists. Practices followed the company's two 'commandments': Be a team player and return phone calls promptly.
